A few weeks ago I took a class on Natural Dyeing taught by Kathy Hattori. I had a fantastic time. Kathy's classes are educational and enjoyable and doable for even a novice dyer. If you get a chance to take one, do it! Here are some pictures
Aren't the colors incredible ! Who knew you could get such beautiful colors from natural dyes. Some of the natural dyes we used were madder, logwood, indigo, cutch, cochineal, fustic, weld, Quebracho Rojo. We even recreated the Pantone color of the year, Marsala, using natural dyes.
